Some fans think it’s jealousy, some fans believe it’s trauma; however, regardless of what it is, she wants her newfound cousin as far away from Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) as possible. Still, what if Summer’s “gut” feeling about Claire is correct?

Y&R spoilers suggest that pretty much everyone around Summer believes Claire’s a changed person. That is, everyone but Summer’s mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)!

Both Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) see that Claire suffered major childhood trauma at the hands of her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and has recovered from her toxic train of thought.

After all, Jordan raised Claire to believe that she was abandoned, but now that her mother and father have shown her that she was really wanted all along, she’s been able to move past her terrible ways and wants to live the life she’s always dreamed of. But is Claire genuine or has she been faking it the entire time?

Y&R Spoilers – Could A Feud With Summer Newman Bring Out The Worst In Claire Grace?

Some fans are still a tad skeptical of Claire. After all, there are some holes in her story about getting locked in the storage unit during Jordan’s last kidnapping. That could be because of Y&R writers, or it could mean something more.

Nothing was ever truly explained about the dead woman that Claire was trapped under, stopping her from trying to escape.

There’s still a small soapy chance that Claire is as dastardly as she once was but is playing the “long game” with the Newmans to get close enough to them to truly destroy them.

Still, even if that’s not the case, it looks like despite Summer’s warnings about Claire, Kyle may veto her opinion about Ms. Grace becoming Harrison’s nanny. This could also create bonding moments between Claire and Kyle, where they form a romance.

All this would unleash an all-out war between Summer and Claire. Could some of Summer’s actions trigger some toxic behaviors from Ms. Grace, too?
