The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) focus really isn’t on Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) anymore.

While Summer still has issues with Claire, she is more worried about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Summer is determined to get custody of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) in light of Kyle’s recent rash decisions.

Y&R spoilers reveal that the tension between SKYLE is intensifying. Kyle and Summer used to coparent well despite their differences. However, now things are heating up.

While it began with Claire, it has evolved into so much more. With more characters getting involved and Kyle continuing to make rash decisions, Summer has gotten lawyers involved.

Kyle used Claire and Harrison to get under Summer’s skin. Reeling from Kyle’s threat about Paris, Summer tried to block her ex-husband from taking Harrison out of the country.

Meanwhile, Kyle asked Claire to report to him if Summer was planning any custody moves. Claire made it clear that she was not comfortable with that, so Kyle quickly dropped it.

Over with Summer, she seems pretty insistent that Kyle is endangering Harrison. One issue that Summer has is with Audra. Although Kyle and Audra are not romantically linked, they do have a history.

The professional maneater let Summer think there could be something going on, but as of right now, it’s strictly business.

That isn’t stopping from Summer fearing for Harrison’s future. Summer even talked to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Audra being Harrison’s stepmother!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis thinks Audra is a real threat. Even though Phyllis wants Summer to obey the law and keep detailed notes, it would be just like her to take care of Audra on her daughter’s behalf.

However, things get even more intense when Kyle and Audra run into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).

Since the custody war is heating up and Summer is already going to extremes, things will just get more dramatic. Kyle already tried putting Claire in a tough position.

Kyle and Claire have a dynamic based on trust and friendship, though. So, Claire was able to easily tell him no.

If Summer has the same request for Claire, it could turn out differently. For one thing, Summer might play the family card.

Claire might also think that if she helps Summer, it could earn her redemption. I have a bad feeling that Claire is going to be the loser in the situation, no matter which way it’s written.
