Y&R Spoilers: Summer Quits Marchetti To Become Stay-At Home Mom For Harrison

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that since Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) kidnapped, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) hasn’t been herself.

She lived every parent’s worst nightmare when her young son went missing, and she’s been dotting on the little boy since he came home.

Summer has been a tremendous mother to Harrison during this entire ordeal but seems to be suffering from some trauma due to the situation. Could she decide to do something drastic?

Y&R spoilers state that while Summer isn’t Harrison’s biological mother; however, she’s the only real mother he’s ever known.

As such, despite her divorce to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), she’s remained an active parent in the boy’s life, even though “legally” she has no rights to him.

Skyle has always placed Harrison first, and their marriage may have crumbled, but their mutual love for the boy has never wavered.

There was plenty of drama when the two separated, but they never showed Harrison that side. From the start, the two have always co-parented, flawlessly.

Summer considers herself a mom to Harrison in every way. She’s had a hard time leaving his side since he returned home from the kidnapping, and the entire issue of Harrison not having a nanny is weighing on both Kyle and Summer.

As Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recently suggested that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) become the boy’s nanny, this may trigger Summer to do something drastic.

Summer does not want Claire anywhere near Harrison, so could she decide to leave her job at Marchetti to become a stay-at-home mom to her son?

As a Newman, money is not an issue. By leaving her career behind, she’d not only ensure Harrison’s safety, but also keep him away from Claire, whom she views as a threat.

Summer is more protective than ever when it comes to Harrison, so could she decide to leave her job at Marchetti and become a full-time mom to her son?

Not only would that keep Claire at bay, but it may also ease Summer’s worried mind when it comes to the little boy.
