Y&R Spoilers: Summer & Diane’s Alliance – Ladies Aim To Take Harrison Away From Kyle

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the Friday, July 5 episode offered some interesting moments.

One was an interaction between Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) at the Abbott Mansion.

Summer flew into the house to peak in on Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) while he was sleeping, off the cusp of a conversation with her parents about wanting to revisit her custody agreement.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) warned Summer about treading this path, and Summer got her feathers ruffled. Upon her entry, Diane cornered Summer and told her about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) plans to take Harrison and move out of the mansion.

Diane was looking to Summer for help to convince him against the idea. Summer was visibly upset as he didn’t fill her in on this decision.

Y&R spoilers for the week of July 8-12 suggest that Summer will lash out at Kyle for not informing her of his decision to move out of his parent’s place.

The preview video shows Skyle getting into it, and this will further cause tension between Harrison’s “parents”.

Kyle is still reeling from getting fired at Jabot, and sadly is dangling Harrison in front of both Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as a way to get back at them.

Things happen fast in the land of GC, and he may not have gotten a chance to tell Summer about his plans; however, this doesn’t mean that in the heat of an argument, he won’t be a total jerk to his ex, a woman who has accepted his son as her own, despite not being his biological mother.

Skyle’s argument the week of July 8-12 likely won’t end well. The show hinted in scenes this past week that despite being the only mom that Harrison has ever known, Summer has no real “rights” to the boy.

Nick noted on Friday’s show that unless Kyle was a negligent father, there’s no way a court of law would side with Summer.

The news that Kyle has gone to work for Glissade, and essentially, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will likely hit the fan in the days ahead.

Once Dack finds out, they will reel, and this could cause Diane to reach out to Summer, looking for an alliance.

Kyle is on his game right now, but losing his son would flip his world upside down. Could Diane come up with a plan that would make Kyle look like an unfit father?

Summer may agree to allow the boy to see his grandparents on the regular – she may even agree to move back into the Abbott mansion with the boy, which would seal the deal.
