Mariah told Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that Sharon is being honest about her meds. However, Mariah just found a bottle of Ibuprofen in Sharon’s purse.
Could all these headaches indicate that Sharon’s problem might not just be mental? Could Sharon be battling a brain tumor? Keep reading and let’s talk about what could happen next in this jarring storyline.
Y&R spoilers reveal that Sharon started spiraling shortly after getting Cassidy First. Nick noticed Sharon snapping at someone on the phone. Sharon admitted her doctor put her on a new bipolar medication.
Sharon reasoned that it was taking her body longer to get adjusted than usual. After that, Sharon stopped taking her medication period, but is lying to everyone.
While Nick has been concerned, he’s also not doing a whole lot to handle the situation. However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knows Sharon scares her right now. Phyllis was the one who kept pushing Nick to get professional help for Sharon.
Phyllis told Nick that Sharon’s issues might be too big for him to handle on his own. Unfortunately, Nick continues stalling and taking forever to act.
While it’s true psych meds take time to adjust, it’s usually a matter of weeks. If meds still aren’t working after MONTHS, that is a serious issue.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nick sent Mariah to check Sharon’s medication. Mariah wasn’t feeling good about the request, but went ahead and did it. Mariah found Ibuprofen in Sharon’s purse, that much we know.
Mariah told Nick that Sharon was being honest about her medication and it was in her medicine cabinet. Just because the pills seem to be the right number doesn’t mean she’s taking the meds, though.
More importantly, fans saw the Ibuprofen bottle for a reason. That seemed to be a big clue. Even though Mariah said the bipolar meds were in Sharon’s medicine cabinet, fans didn’t see that part for some reason.
With Sharon taking so much Ibuprofen, could that indicate a different problem? Maybe the meds aren’t the issue. Maybe there is something more going on in Sharon’s brain that is causing her symptoms.
Is it possible that everyone just thinks it’s the meds when Sharon could really have a brain tumor? If so, could there be only a short amount of time to save Sharon’s life?
