It seems that Y&R finally has concluded that having Chance as just another corporate figure was a dead end-he’s a cop at heart, not cut out for cutthroat business maneuvers.
This left the show lacking any genuine law enforcement presence, so it’s a relief to see them bringing Chance back into the detective role.
The timing couldn’t be better, as he can now delve into the mystery surrounding Heather’s tragic fate and seek answers about what transpired.
During the week of October 7-11, Chance will be on the case, determined to uncover the truth. However, we still have lingering doubts about whether Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) was truly responsible for Heather’s untimely end.
That blackout raised a lot of eyebrows and hinted that there’s more unfolding beneath the surface-it wasn’t shown whether she actually killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) or not.
It’s clear that Sharon is deeply involved in the cover-up and is willing to go to great lengths to protect herself.
In a desperate move, she plans to plant damning evidence in Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) apartment to frame him, showcasing just how far she’s willing to go.
While Sharon’s judgment is clearly clouded right now, many fans are still taken aback by the unfolding drama.
Even though “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) is trying to persuade Sharon that she can successfully set Daniel up and pull off the perfect crime, she might still make some unexpected mistakes.
Sharon has covered her tracks, but trouble is on the horizon that could throw her plans off course. As the investigation intensifies, upcoming spoilers indicate that Chance will subject Sharon to a tough questioning session.
While Chance might lack concrete proof linking Sharon to Heather’s situation, the mere fact that an interrogation is taking place spells trouble for her.
“Cameron” will urge Sharon to ensure the police receive information about the planted evidence in Daniel’s penthouse, but he’ll caution her to avoid raising any red flags in the process.
If Sharon doesn’t succeed in that area and Chance discovers she’s the one behind the tipoff, it could lead to serious issues.
One slipup Sharon might make and “Cameron” won’t catch is when she turns the GPS and locating services back on, which she’d shut off on Heather’s phone.
It’s possible the phone was tracking even when those were off but law enforcement agencies can track a phone using its IMEI number, even if the location services are disabled.
He’ll just need a warrant, but he’s got the probable cause to obtain it-Sharon’s disappearance might help Chance piece things together. Since she was missing the night Heather was last seen, Chance may have a reason to question her as well.
Sharon is scheduled for an interrogation on October 10-their past dating relationship could make the situation even more uncomfortable!
