Summer Newman is finally showing some maturity. She made amends with Sally Spectra. She can relate to how Sally feels lately. Even though she’s not Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) biological mother, she’s still concerned about his well-being.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Summer is in a similar situation. She’s like a mother to Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), who hasn’t been himself lately. He only lights up when Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is around.

Sally’s hands are tied too. She can’t insert herself in Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) situation with Connor. She can only watch from the sidelines as he handles it with his ex-wife Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Because of this, Summer has come around to Sally. Some Y&R viewers over on the SoapCentral.com message boards commend her for being extremely reasonable.

She extended an olive branch and put an end to their feud. Summer wanted to let go of their past and move forward to a bright future.

That’s because they have to work together. Sally got a job at Marchetti because she wants to work in fashion again. Summer welcomed Sally back with open arms. She even allowed Sally to bring Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as her assistant. This shows some growth on her part.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Sally and Summer have become chummy lately. Summer even visited Sally at the home she shared with Adam. Most fans are loving Allison Lanier’s version of Summer.

“Yea, Summer is. I really like AL’s Summer, she is doing a good job portraying Summer as a bit more mature but still with a little of her mom in her,” one fan wrote.

“I like AL too. I have-have liked how Summer has been written since her return and how AL has portrayed her. Yes, a good combo of Phyllis, on the passionate side. And Nick, on the calm and rational side,” another user noted.

Previously, there was mixed reaction to how Summer handled the situation involving Harrison. She believes Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) isn’t the right fit for the nanny job because of what she did to the Newmans.

Summer doesn’t trust Claire. According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, she might get jealous of Claire as she gets closer to Kyle. This plot still brings out her competitiveness and emotional immaturity.
