She mentioned to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) during a recent episode that her doctor switched up her bipolar medication, which could explain her odd behavior; however, is Sharon headed for another mental health breakdown?

Y&R spoilers suggest that Sharon’s world was flipped upside down after Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death.

Not only did her marriage fall apart – thanks to Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford), but she would later spiral, ultimately being diagnosed with bipolar, and had a mental health meltdown.

Nick and Phyllis would end up having an affair, getting married, and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) was born.

With the show revisiting this entire storyline recently, it’s hard not to think that the “memories” of it all could have a negative impact on Sharon.

Not only did Sharon’s odd dream in January (during her Sharon-centric episode) spotlight her disdain for Phick, the recent retelling of the Shick love story (during the Nick-centric show) continues to show fans that Nick and Phyllis’s love story still rubs Sharon the wrong way (even after all these years).

Y&R Spoilers – Phick Come Together To Help Summer

Y&R spoilers for Friday, July 5 reveal that Summer will turn to her parents for help, and this likely has to do with her custody battle against Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Phyllis and Nick have been in each other’s orbits a lot recently. Nick has got a good relationship with all his exes, but he and Red have been hanging out a bit more since her ego took a hit when Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) chose Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) over her.

Sharon caught the two holding hands during an emotional moment at Crimson. One look at Sharon’s face, and fans could tell she was triggered.

In addition to that, she recently recalled a terrible memory during Cassie’s death where she ripped into Daniel Romalotti at the hospital, shortly after she ran into him at Society while he was having dinner with his family.

Cassie’s death, and all the pieces that fell out of place in the aftermath could be lingering trauma for Sharon. While her bipolar was addressed, no one ever talked about possible post-traumatic stress for her.

Seeing Phick bond as they help Summer through her predicament could be upsetting to Sharon. Will she have a meltdown if Phick gets closer and closer? Maybe Nick cancels a coffee date to help Phyllis with something non-Summer related, and Sharon gets upset?

Perhaps, Sharon’s klepto habits resurface? She once also burnt the Newman Ranch down in a fit of rage. Could something similar unravel, as she continues to cope with the trauma surrounding her daughter’s death?
