Y&R spoilers remind fans that when Phyllis feels as if she doesn’t have control of a situation, she tends to act irrational. This often has her making terrible choices that may seem logical at the time.

Phyllis has been pressing Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for information about Heather’s investigation, which he has been keeping under wraps. He can’t share details with the public, especially a person of interest’s mother, right?

Still, as Phyllis is snoopy, and Chance also happens to be dating her daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), could she gain information on Heather’s case and do something drastic? She may think she’s helping Daniel’s situation, but she’ll be hurting it.

Y&R spoilers suggest that if Phyllis tries to tamper with evidence, which is right up her ally, and gets caught – she could land her and Daniel in major trouble.

As it stands now, Daniel is a prime suspect in this case; however, fans have pointed out that he does have an alibi during the time Heather passed. After all, he was out in a very public place with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) at the time.

Still, in the land of soaps, this might not matter – this point could be fluffed aside as the police might not be able to determine Heather’s “time of passing” at this point.

But, if evidence does surface against Daniel and Phyllis tries to steal or tamper with it (and gets caught), she won’t only land in hot water, she may make her son look that much guiltier. Even her simply snooping for evidence would be bad.
