The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have not been together for a while now, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a chance that we could see this iconic couple back together.

While Kyle has been spending a lot of time with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), we witnessed a tender moment between him and Summer.

Summer has been struggling a lot lately with her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in the hospital.

She is looking for some comfort anywhere she can, and even if that means going to her ex-boyfriend. They may not be together anymore, but, everyone can tell that they still have feelings for each other. Probably always will.

While Phyllis continues to battle in the hospital, Summer is having a terrible time. Kyle could see Summer in her moment of weakness and whether it be on purpose or an accidental night together, we think we could see this two getting back together very soon.

Kyle will let his emotions get the better of him and want to take care of Summer.

Perhaps he invites her over and they end up sleeping together in the same room. We’ve just recently seen Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) fall back in bed together while visiting their son, and looking to each other for comfort. So it’s not a story that’s out of reach.

Y&R Spoilers – Claire Grace’s Reaction

Of course, Kyle isn’t exactly a single man… He and Claire have had their own moments, and many viewers tend to like them together.

While Kyle can be a bratty, spoiled jerk most of the time. He seems to let his guard down around Claire, who is adorable. Together, it looks like they could have a great future.

At the same time, Kyle and Summer’s love will probably never go away. They are meant to be together… and there’s not really any getting around that.

It’s going to be tricky for Kyle coming up. Does he comfort his ex in her moment of need or does he keep his distance and continue his thing with Claire?
