Even Phyllis’ friends are tired of hearing about Danny Romalotti, and Y&R viewers at home have all caught second-hand embarrassment watching her pine over him.

Ironically, her desperate attempt to make Danny jealous and prove she has moved on, turns in to an unexpected romance.

Phyllis Summers and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) have been casually flirting for a while now.

Recently, Phyllis even announced she was dating Tucker to try and prove she was over Danny Romalotti. Tucker seemed amused by the rouse, and hinted they should really go out on a date.

According to Y&R spoilers, Tucker will get his wish later this month on the CBS soap opera. Maybe Phyllis takes him up on his offer to try and make Danny jealous.

Or Tucker could ask her to return the favor and go on a fake date with him to make Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) jealous.

Regardless of how it comes about, Phyllis will be batting her eyes at Tucker over wine and a steak dinner in a few weeks.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint it is only a matter of time before real sparks start flying in the fake relationship. Stafford and St. John actually have great chemistry, this could be a new Y&R Super Couple in the making.
