Y&R Spoilers: Mother-Son Drama At Jabot Has Jack Falling Off The Wagon

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) continues to be a thorn in Diane Abbott’s (Susan Walters) side at Jabot.

In fact, during the Monday, May 20 episode, he purposely went against his mom’s direct orders, ensuring a deal got pushed through without her insight.

Once Diane catches wind of what Kyle has done, she’ll be pissed. She may even decide to fire him. She’s had to deal with his immature antics for a while now. Will Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) get caught in the middle of all this fighting? Could he fall off the wagon because of it?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Has Placed His Addiction On The Line

Y&R spoilers note that Jack recently placed his addiction on the line for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

In an effort to encourage her to go to rehab after her booze bender, Jack popped some pills, and fell unconscious, to prove a point to his ex-wife. While he ended up being okay, and Nikki entered rehab, Diane was pissed at him.

During his little speech to Nikki about his own issues, he mentioned Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mental health spiral and Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) kidnapping as sources of stress and the reason he wanted to “feel” numb, if only for a moment. Could the stress of an all-out Jabot war add fuel to the fire?

Y&R Spoilers – Dack’s Marriage Woes

Diane was not a happy camper when she found out about Jack’s pill bender at the GCAC with Nikki.

One of the things she was most worried about when it came to Jack being his ex-wife’s AA sponsor was that he’d fall off the wagon … and he did.

If Jack tries to play peacemaker between Kyle and Diane, his wife might lose it on him. His son may also hurl insults.

Kyle and Diane will want Jack to “take their side” in all this, and when he can’t, both parties may be upset at him for not seeing “their side”. Could this cause him to turn to pills, once again?
