It’s almost as if Billy can see Lily isn’t overly thrilled about the development, so how much longer will she put forth the charade that she’s #TeamAbbottChancellor?
Across town, Y&R spoilers for Monday, July 1 indicate that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will sit down for a meal with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at GCAC when he reveals something that is “tearing” him apart.
During the preview video for next week, Nikki asks him to tell her everything so she can be there for him, as he’s been for her.
A lot is going on in Abbott’s world. First and foremost, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was fired from Jabot by Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) and fans can tell how conflicted Jack is.
He wants to support his wife, and his son is going over her head at work. Still, Jabot is a family legacy he wanted to pass down to Kyle, and his heart is breaking over the fact that his son won’t be working at the cosmetics company.
Will Jack also learn that Kyle has accepted a job with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Glissade?
At the same time, Jack is also off the cusp of his Paris return, dealing with his sister Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mental health issues. He and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) struggled with the trauma that Ashley has dealt with recently, and potentially during her childhood.
Will Nikki be a source of comfort to her ex, and how will The Moustache feel about this all if he finds out?
Lastly, Y&R spoilers suggest that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will share an emotional kiss while in Baltimore.
Will they receive more bad news about their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), which will lead them to a lip lock? The bigger question is, will they stop at ‘just a kiss’ or hit the sheets?
