Y&R Spoilers: Melody Thomas Scott Celebrates Nikki Newman Milestone By Giving Back

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Nikki Newman are fierce rivals in the land of Genoa City, in the real world, the actresses that portray them seem to be great friends.

Melody Thomas Scott recently decided to celebrate her 45-year milestone with the show by volunteering at Project Angel Food and asked some colleagues to come along and lend a hand.

Actress Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) posted a photo on her Instagram account of her, Melody, and Colleen, as well as Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) in front of angel wings, to mark their day of volunteering, all in honor of Ms. Scott’s 45 years of playing Nikki Newman.

It was quite an interesting photo as Nikki and Jordan are rivals, as well as Phyllis and Christine.

Project Angel Food is a not-for-profit organization that prepares, delivers, and serves healthy and free meals to individuals affected by serious conditions with LA County. The group brings hope and comfort to so many, daily.

Eric Braeden, Victor Newman himself, was also on hand, and while he may not have been in the photo Lauralee posted on her Instagram with the rest of the beautiful ladies he works with.

He did pose for a picture with Ms. Bell and Melody outside the organization and posted it on his own IG handle.

He also posted a snapshot of him and Cricket, donning masks, as they prepped food during their Project Angel volunteer time, in the kitchen.

What a great way to celebrate an incredible career in daytime drama! It’s also amazing for fans to see the friendships and bonds that the Y&R cast has developed over the years.
