The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) out-dueled Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and is gloating.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) noticed. However, Claire has a different experience level. Being stolen at birth and raised by Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) permanently altered Claire’s life, but it has not made her bitter. Instead, she’s grateful for the life she’s realized with her parents and the Newman family.

Kyle’s decision to take a romantic step by recently kissing Claire was the sign she needed. Friends only no more, this pairing has the potential to become a couple in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Makes People Look Bad

Kyle knows Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) far better than Audra or his rediscovered granddaughter, Claire. Devoted viewers recall that a younger version of Mealor’s character bonded with Victor.

Braeden’s character is doing now what he did way back when. Exploiting the misguided anger Kyle has for his father, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Of course, Victor also mines Kyle’s contempt for his mother.

Manipulating Kyle’s foolish and disrespectful parental angst makes the man Claire is falling for look bad. While she hasn’t reached this conclusion yet, Claire will eventually have to wonder when Kyle will become dissatisfied with her.

Y&R Spoilers – Audra Charles Wants Revenge

Believing that Audra’s termination solves a problem needs to be corrected. Having her out of Glissade will make Kyle’s work life smoother, as long as he does Victor’s bidding without wavering.

However, Audra made the Glissade deal happen. She told Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that this opportunity would not evaporate. But now it has.

Kyle told Victor that Audra revealed the Moustache’s role as Glissade’s secret backer. That was a no-no and proved to be the reason why Victor fired her and made Kyle the sole leader of the rising cosmetics company.

Audra will not let Kyle’s role in her firing rest. She’ll bait Kyle or do whatever is necessary to seek revenge. Having Claire see him in a bad light is a bonus, or Erin’s character is lured into the game on purpose because Audra senses that’s one of Kyle’s vulnerabilities.

Being the first man Claire has a crush on creates a responsibility. Based on her age, that event should have happened in school. However, the Jordan factor repressed Claire’s natural emotional development.

Kyle knows Claire’s backstory and has been careful. However, he has no boundaries regarding his parents and career.

After amicably resolving custody issues with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), Kyle’s personal life seemed to settle. Claire was encouraged by that outcome and, as Kyle knows, helped that to happen through her support.

While Kyle is the current object of Claire’s affection, he could be better. Erin’s character knows that and wants to see how she fits into his life and how he might become part of hers indefinitely.
