The Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Joshua Morrow says he will never be killed off the show. Why is Joshua so sure about this, especially now that his ex-wife has turned murderer? What makes Nick, and Joshua, so important to the show?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Won’t Be Leaving Anytime Soon
The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that soap characters are here today and gone tomorrow in some instances. It is nothing for a character to be retired and a new one show up the next day.
Recasts happen all of the time, especially if a conflict between schedules, or between those in charge and the actor arise.
Joshua Morrow has played Nick since 1994, he told US Weekly when discussing the 13000 episode of the iconic soap. This lead to a conversation about Nick/Joshua leaving Genoa City.
Morrow is sure that it won’t happen any time soon. Morrow assures fans that there is no reason to think that Nick is going anywhere.
Y&R Spoilers – Joshua Morrow Sounds A Bit Overly Confident
Joshua shared with the publication that after having being a part of the show for years, “At the risk of sounding overly confident, my character is pretty central to the show.
There will always be a Nick Newman, whether it’s me playing him or not. [That] is up to me and the show, but Nick will always be around.”
Morrow continues, “I have no concerns about that. I hope that doesn’t come across as anything less than just knowing what the character brings to the show. It has nothing to do with me. I don’t want to come across that way, but, you know, the Newman family is very important.” However, some fans believe he should watch his back around Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Soap Actors Put A Lot Of Themselves Into Their Characters
The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that soap actors put a lot of themselves into the characters they play.
Morrow says, “I mean, we have to learn basically a play every day, like, the amount of work that we have to put in studying, being on point — because we’re now at a point in time where we have to have most things in one take, which is very stressful.”
Like most soap actors, Morrow admits, “I honestly learn about 80 [to] 85 percent of it and I make up the rest, meaning I’m just, sort of, interjecting my own personality in it because nobody knows Nick as well as I do. So they trust me to sort of make it my own in the way that I do, and that’s how you go about it.”
Do you think Nick is safe or is he as expendable as any other character on the show? Let us know what you think.
