Y&R Spoilers: Johnny & Katie Despise Claire, Try To Sabotage Her?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) kids, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) return home from boarding school soon.

There have been lots of changes in the past year and they will have a lot to deal with when they come home to GC. This could work out well or devolve into a huge soapy mess!

For starters, their childhood home was burned to the ground by a villain out to harm the Newmans. Victoria is now living at the stable house but she’s not alone.

Her long-lost daughter Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is living with her and Katie and Johnny will have to adjust to an older sibling who just so happens to be a recent bona fide psycho.

Like any proud mama would, Victoria Newman is convinced that Katie and Johnny will love and accept Claire, easy, peasy.

After all, young Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) thinks Claire walks on water, so surely her own siblings will be blown away by the newbie. Maybe so–but necessarily in a good way.

Johnny and Katie will learn that Claire tortured their grandmother Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and caused mayhem with the other Newmans.

While most of GC has drunk the Kool-Aid over Claire, these two may resist embracing and forgiving her.

If Victoria tries to sugarcoat Claire’s reign of terror, there are plenty of others who can provide the details of how Claire did Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) dirty work.

How would Claire react to being rejected by her young siblings? It could be a real test of her growth, and a chance for her real colors to emerge.

In particular, Katie may be threatened by Claire as she has never had to share her mom with another sister before.

We haven’t seen Katie in a while, and the sweet girl who went away could come back a turbulent teen who has issues that her mom won’t have time for.

That would set the stage for jealousy and the possibility that Katie tries to backstab her sister.

Let’s face it, the show has made a big mistake in treating Claire’s story like a Hallmark movie, when she’s really closer to an episode of Snapped. Will Katie and Johnny be the ones to pull off Claire’s halo?
