Young & The Restless

Y&R Spoilers: James Hyde Reveals Return, But Won’t Say Much More

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen actor James Hyde.

The handsome soap veteran terrorized Genoa City residents as Jeremy Stark; however, died at the hands (literally) of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in 2023 when their plan to bring Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) went very wrong.

The good news is that Hyde is making a comeback; however, he doesn’t offer that much information about his new role.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – James Hyde Announces Something Exciting On Social Media

Hyde recently hopped on Instagram to talk about his new role, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from his new project.

The selfie pic is of him in a grey suit and tie, but his caption reads, “On the set of a new show. Will announce when it gets closer to air date.”

Fellow Y&Rer, Michelle Stafford was quick to comment with four “high-five” emojis, and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) offered three “fire” emojis; among a slew of fans who provided congratulatory comments. So, what could James Hyde’s new project be about? Everyone will have to wait and see.

Y&R Spoilers – James Hyde Is No Stranger To Daytime Drama

What “new show” could James be starting and is it a new show to him, or the greater public at large, as well?

While it’s obviously unlikely that he’ll return to GC at this point, after all, his death was quite final with Phyllis stabbing him and then hiding his body (plus, the “new show” hint in his IG caption).

Still, Hyde has extensive experience and will likely do amazing in any series he’s in, whether that be daytime or primetime – or something else.

From As the World Turns, where he played Liam to Another World (Neil Johanssen), as well as Sam Bennett on Passions, Hyde nails every role he’s been in and will likely enjoy continued success on this new project.
