Y&R Spoilers: Jack’s Pill-Popping Emergency Lands Kyle As Jabot’s Co-CEO, Drama Erupts

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been yearning for the CEO spot at Jabot for a long while.

Sadly, his mom bumped him down a few notches on her way up the corporate ladder, landing the comfy role and placing her son as COO of the company.

While he’s desperately tried to hide it, his mom being his boss has rubbed Kyle the wrong way. As such, the two have experienced some drama in recent weeks while trying to work together.

However, could a plot twist have Kyle unexpectedly jumping into his father’s shoes, sooner than he thinks?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Lands In The Hospital Trying To Help Nikki Newman

Y&R spoilers state that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) recently suffered a relapse trying to help Nikk Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) out of a booze bender. He begged and pleaded with her to sober up, and she refused.

Taking extreme measures, he shifted into an, “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” attitude and fell off the wagon of his pill-popping addiction, hard. He not only took a number of pills, but he mixed them with alcohol.

Jack passed out during the end of the May 2 episode, and there’s a good chance he’ll be rushed to the hospital.

Regardless of how long his hospital stay is, he may need to do the responsible thing and head to rehab in light of this incident.

Y&R spoilers – Could Kyle Abbott Be Hastily Promoted

If Jack takes time off Jabot, it’ll be all hands-on deck at the company. Diane cannot run the company without some assistance, so Kyle’s parents may present a co-CEO role for him.

Still, will Diane and Kyle work as a cohesive unit? It’s one thing taking orders from your mom at work, and it’s another collaborating on ideas as two leaders on the same level.

With that being said, as Kyle and Diane have been at each other’s throats lately, there’s a good chance the proverbial poop will hit the fan between the mother and son if a company crisis hits.
