Y&R Spoilers: Jack Fires Kyle From Jabot – Takes Diane’s Side To Save Marriage

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) continues to undermine Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) at Jabot, his mom is on the cusp of losing her patience.

She’s made her orders clear in the past, and as his boss, he is not following instructions as he should be. Diane’s given him countless chances; however, will she drop the final hammer after his most recent betrayal?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Goes Against His Mom’s Work Wishes

Y&R spoilers for Monday, May 20 note that despite Diane giving Kyle a direct and clear order about a new deal, he completely shrugged off her instructions and moved forward with locking it in.

Diane didn’t mince words with this one, and told Kyle not to finalize the paperwork, but right after their conversation, he rushed to the phone and ordered his assistant to push it through.

Diane and Kyle have been at each other’s throats for a while now, and Ms. Abbott has allowed many things to slide, mainly because Kyle is her son. Will this last move be the straw the breaks the camel’s back?

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott – Stuck Between A Rock & A Hard Place

When Diane finds out what Kyle’s done, she’ll be upset. She may even fire Kyle on the spot. Of course, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) likely has the final say in a matter of this sort, and he’ll side with Diane.

Jack has felt stuck in the middle between these two for a while now. While Diane will be correct in her logic to fire Kyle, the biggest reason Jack will side with his wife is because of the recent rocky situation with him falling off the wagon.

Diane was concerned that Jack being Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA Sponsor would have him popping pills again, and that’s exactly what went down. More so, Diane was upset because Jack placed his sobriety, and life, on the line for his ex.

While Nikki ended up going to rehab, and Jack ended up being ok, things could’ve ended up far worse, and the fact that Jack didn’t think about the repercussions of these actions, absolutely floored Diane.

Jack is in the doghouse for all of this, so will he try to get out of it by supporting Diane’s decision to fire Kyle?
