Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) vowed he’d back off Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) about what happened in Baltimore; however, during the closing moments of the August 15 show, Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) overheard Chelsea talking about her “guilt” over that night, to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for Friday reveal that Adam will keep up appearances where Sally is concerned.

There’s also a good chance that as Chelly walks away to have a chat in the park, Sally and Adam will remain there with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), so Adam will have to put his best foot forward for his son’s sake, despite what Sally and Billy overheard.

Regardless, if the truth comes out about Chadam’s one-nighter, Sally will be devastated. Especially since Billy could feel something off with Chelsea since she returned from Baltimore, but Sally kept fluffing him off.

She may believe Adam is a master manipulator for covering it all, and if he can lie so easily about this, what else is he hiding?
