Y&R spoilers for Monday, January 8th indicate that actor Brian Gaskill will enter the little town, playing the role of Seth.

This new character will become an AA friend to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she struggles to get back on the wagon after the entire lake house debacle with Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).Added teasers note that Seth will become someone kind and supportive that Nikki can lean on during this challenging time in her life. But will they stay “just friends” or will there be more?

Unfortunately, Y&R spoilers for the week of January 8th do suggest that Nikki will face a major setback. The preview video for next week shows a very intoxicated Ms. Newman stumbling into the GC Athletic Club.

Thankfully, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) finds her, and will help her get sobered up. The last thing Nikki wants is for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to see her this way, and Lauren will be a good friend to her during this time.

It’s clear that Nikki has a long road ahead, but thankfully she has family, friends, and colleagues supporting her during this journey. How will Seth play a role in all this? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

The Young And The Restless  Spoilers – Ally Celebrates “New Beginnings”

Last, but certainly not least, Y&R spoilers for Monday’s show imply that Ally fans will be pleased. Looks like Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will take a big step toward solidifying their relationship.

They’ll go on their “real” date during the epi, and even share a nice champagne toast. What’s next for the Ally super couple? Only time will tell!
