At the same time, Sharon also claims she needs to protect Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). With Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) fixated on Faith, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) has suggested a disturbing plan.
With Sharon’s mental state deteriorating, could she end up holding her own daughter hostage to “save” her from Lucy? Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.
Y&R spoilers reveal that after Sharon ditched her meds, she began seeing Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes). At the time, Sharon made it clear she knew Cassie wasn’t real.
Soon after that, Sharon began hallucinating Cameron. Even though Cameron isn’t real, he is interfering in Sharon’s life and influencing her decisions.
Cameron keeps pushing Sharon to get payback. However, nobody realizes how bad Sharon’s mental state is right now.
Some people have warned Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Sharon spiraling. Nick seems to recognize that Sharon has a problem, but he doesn’t seem to be taking it as seriously as he should.
Nick asked for Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) help in figuring out if Sharon was on her meds or not. Mariah didn’t feel right about it, but did it anyway. Mariah’s hesitation might explain why she lied to Nick.
After coming back from Sharon’s, Mariah told Nick that she was being honest about taking her meds. However, all fans saw was a bottle of Ibuprofen.
Mariah didn’t witness Sharon’s previous breakdowns. Most likely, Mariah probably thinks Sharon just needs a little more time to adjust. However, it seems something horrific is on the horizon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Lucy continues to be obsessed with a friendship with Faith. Recently, Faith told Lucy that they aren’t friends. Faith also suggested that Lucy talk to a professional about her drinking.
Although Lucy was crushed, will she really accept Faith’s words? Or could Lucy continue to be fixated on Faith?
If Lucy keeps trying to reach out to Faith, then Sharon could take Cameron’s sinister suggestion. Is it possible that in order to “save” Faith from Lucy, Sharon holds her own daughter hostage? Sharon could lie to Nick and others by claiming Faith went back to college.
Meanwhile, Sharon might hold Faith hostage in order to not lose another daughter. Wouldn’t it be ironic if Lucy’s defiance actually led to Faith’s rescue and Sharon getting help?
