Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Elena Dawson is officially returning to the land of Genoa City as Brytni Sarpy reprises the role.

The actress alerted fans to her Y&R comeback via her Instagram Story, and it looks like she’ll be participating in the show’s 13,000 milestone episode, which takes place on November 13.

Interestingly enough, that is also the date of Abby Newman-Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).

In fact, not only did they have a romance, but he also cheated on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with Elena.

With that being said, it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Elena. After she and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) broke up, she was only seen on the show for medical-related reasons.

In fact, viewers may recall that she was the doctor who helped save Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) back in the summer of 2023 while she was pregnant. Sadly, Elena could not save Sally’s daughter, Ava Spectra-Newman.

So, what brings Elena back to town? Would she come back to attend the wedding or is there more to this?

Y&R spoilers hint that there will be bumps in the road leading up to the Dabby wedding. Fans have speculated that this might be about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), as the reason the super couple picked November to ensure Abby’s mom would be there.

She’s set to be released from her mental health treatment center in Paris, “sometime” in the fall, so both Devon and Abby felt like November was a safe date.

Still, what if the “chaos” that’s coming to the Dabby wedding is in the form of Devon cheating? After all, he’s always had problems remaining faithful to his significant others.

Could Elena learn about his engagement to Abby and try and stop him from marrying her? Could she try and seduce him? Would she succeed?
