Y&R spoilers remind fans that ‘80s character, Amy Lewis is set to return to GC. While actress Stephanie E. Williams originally played the character from 1983 to 1988, daytime drama vet, Valarie Pettiford, has been recast.

Amy’s comeback to the little town has had fans buzzing. Especially since most of the characters she was involved with are gone from the canvas.

Some are speculating that she could drop a bomb on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about a secret half-brother, as she once had a romance with Nate Hastings Sr. (Nathan Purdee).

However, as Lewis was known to sing a song or two with Danny, while she was in GC, could her storyline return be linked to him?

Amy is set to return to the soap in late October. Meanwhile, Christine will re-emerge on the canvas sometime in early October. Many eyebrows will be raised with The Bug’s return, sans The Rockstar. Could the two have had a falling out?

Then again, maybe they left things off on a good note. Once Christine returns to GC, she may feel as if it’s hard to connect with Danny while he’s on his world tour – it may be hard to reach him or talk to him. The distance could cause Romalotti to slip up and cheat on his gal pal.

What if he runs into Amy while on tour? Could the two decide to “catch up” over dinner? Perhaps there is alcohol involved and they get carried away?

Amy is set to become a recurring character, so what if her return in October is to tell Christine about her one-night stand with Danny? She may end up staying upon her visit. Still, could this blow the Christine-Danny reunion out of the water?
