Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman Doesn’t Agree With Doctors

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Adam Newman doesn’t agree with the treatment that Connor Newman is receiving.

He doesn’t like being blamed for his son’s trauma. The truth is that most kids don’t have a perfect family upbringing. They’re going to have trauma of some sort.

Connor’s therapist suggested he could have generational trauma, which could’ve contributed to his obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

He’s been especially affected by Chelsea’s mental health battles. However, Adam is taking the brunt of the blame. He’s taking this personally.

This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. Some Y&R viewers called out Adam’s treatment of Connor’s doctors and therapy.

The user Salter wrote: “I think if Connor’s see the blatant negativity he will regress. Chelsea needs to keep Adam away from the situation and Connor until he is ready to come home.”

“Oh good. Let’s let the kid think Daddy doesn’t want to see him or talk to him anymore. That should really help, but let’s let the parent with all the mental issues continue to have contact with him,” one fan responded.

“Neither parent is allowed contact with Connor right now while he’s being assessed and in the first stage of treatment. It’s painful but I do think that Connor was picking up on both of his parents’ panic at his disorder and it was making it worse especially since his worst fears involve him,” another user mused.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, the treatment center might have nefarious reasons. They could be using Connor against his parents. This could be the center’s way of keeping him away from his parents.

One Y&R fan noted in another thread that Adam was cast as the villain in Connor’s story. His OCD developed while he was away at boarding school. He repeated thoughts in his head that his parents hated him when they wanted the best for him.
