The actor is no longer in the opening credits, which signals that his character has gone from regular to recurring status.

Chance will also interact with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter), and Ashley Abbott who all are on regular status.

Floyd debuted on the CBS soap in 2021. He was new to the role of nepo baby Phillip Chancellor IV and is the fourth person to play the role.

You may remember these actors as Chance prior to Floyd: John Driscoll (2009-2011), Donny Boaz (2019-2021), and Justin Gaston (2020).

Fun fact: Gaston is married to Melissa Ordway who plays Abby Newman on the show, and they acted opposite one another with Chance and Abby married at one point.

Recurring stars do not appear in more than three weekly episodes and earn a predetermined amount over a certain period of time.
