Y&R Spoilers: Claire’s Dream Foreshadows Ominous Future, Possible DNA Fake Out?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that in Y&R’s March 20 episode, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) had a dream where she was The Main Character.

Her mere existence caused Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) to be resurrected and Nikki Newman’s hair (Melody Thomas Scott) to live its best life.

In this dream Claire was Eve, the girl who was never kidnapped and brainwashed. It was Barbiecore to the max. But, it also seemed to foreshadow an ominous future for Claire. Read on to find out how Claire’s dream could turn into a real-life nightmare.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Is Claire For Real?

Claire’s fantasy dream was obviously what she thought her life could have been had evil Jordan (Colleen Zenk) never kidnapped her when she was an infant.

Interestingly, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) figured into the dream, telling the lass “You know, the rest of them, they see the happy, sweet, smiling Eve. But I see past all that.” Chills and shudders! Adam warned Claire about her dark side and hinted of the damage she was capable of.

Adam intoned “And if you were ever to let that out, this town wouldn’t stand a chance. You’d be a force to be reckoned with.” Adam knows about darkness, so we think this was not a random statement—soaps always maximize every single word of dialogue.

Right now Claire is getting love and acceptance from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) because they believe her to be a blood Newman. What if that isn’t true?

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Is Claire a Blood Newman?

At this point we have to ask–what if Claire isn’t really a Newman? After all, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) got her DNA sample from the Oregon lake house, not directly from Claire.

Here’s where we’re going with this: Claire brushed Nikki’s hair at the lake house–Nikki’s DNA would be a match for Victoria’s, ergo, Cole could have assumed that the test which showed Claire to be a biological Newman was deceptive. Or, what if the lab made a mistake—it happens.

Let’s say that Jordan stole the wrong baby–Claire would be devastated to learn she is not a Newman. If this is true, it’s easy to see her going to the dark side and lashing out–proving Adam’s words about her.
