This conversation was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. However, the Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Claire is annoying the viewers.

She has been propped up as this “good girl” despite her messy history. One Y&R viewer noticed a possible connection between Claire and Neil.

“So what if he was with Victoria around her birth time and was going to adopt her? He was not her father and has passed on. He is not around to be there for her, so why make this such a big thing?” the original poster asked.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) revealed her pregnancy journey to Claire. She shared that Neil was around when she was pregnant. He almost adopted her.

However, some viewers argued that the story is moot since he’s no longer around. They believe that the Y&R writers used Neil’s storyline to prop up Claire.

“I rolled my eyes at that one come on guys really the more they try to make Claire connected to others in GC and make her out to be this great new person the more I do not trust her it is just was too much propping,” one fan wrote.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victoria was engaged to Neil at one point.

Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) told Claire that Neil could’ve been her stepfather. Some Y&R fans joked that they forgot that Victoria was involved with Neil at one point. She has a long list of suitors.

Y&R Spoilers – Too Much Claire Propping?

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, the daytime show is doing too much with Claire propping.

Most Y&R viewers are calling out the writers for changing the legacy of Neil to prop up a new character. Claire had nothing to do with what Neil and his family brought to the show.

Victoria and Neil were briefly involved. She was involved with many men during that time in her life. Y&R fans had their doubts about whether Neil would’ve raised Claire.

She could’ve been raised by either Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) or J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Some believe the writers are trying too hard to make them like Claire.
