Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) told her son in no uncertain terms that he would do what she wanted, or she would fire him. That response is justified because he bungled Chancellor, causing it to split from Winters.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) took a leap of faith. She bought Billy’s pitch to stay with the company, and she led to growth. He paid her back with a betrayal, firing her. Billy followed that catastrophe by alienating his nephew, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), who resigned.

Lily’s recent video chat with Jill was refreshing. Walton’s character likes Lily and wants her to return to Chancellor. Jill also promised Khalil’s character that she will make good for what happened.

Devon Winters (Bryton James) wants his sister to do as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) suggested and return to their family business. Lily did not accept her brother’s offer because she needed time to process the whirlwind Billy created.

It’s now plausible to see Billy either rehire Lily or be replaced by her. Lily is connected to the Chancellor and sees that as her ideal career path.

Now that her heart issue has been addressed, Jill can focus on business with the help of her brother, Dr. Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff).

Once again, she allowed Billy to prove himself, but he failed. She and the audience know that Billy remains his worst enemy.

Despite Jill’s attempts to create a guardrail, in having Lily run the company with Billy, he found a way to screw it up. So, Jill is serious about telling him to fix what he wrecked and do it the right way. If not, he’s gone.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Pairs With Sally Spectra

Billy has the personality type that would lend itself to pairing with someone as a reaction to other parts of life. So, no matter what develops at Chancellor, including his staying or being canned, Billy appears likely to explore a romantic relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Hope’s character is reeling after being wronged by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) yet again. Coupling with Billy would feel good and send an intended message to Adam by pairing with his longtime enemy.

The time frame for a Billy and Sally connection is probably tied to whatever Jill decides very shortly. So, Bally or Silly, which reads and sounds better, could soon be the next mashed couple’s nickname in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
