According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Audra’s past is driving her choices. She revealed to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that both of her parents are alcoholics.
It provides insight into her behavior. Audrey relies on lying and scheming to work her way to the top of the corporate ladder.
Audra broke away from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and her past. However, she still sells herself short despite wanting to be a girl boss.
Nate even noted that her need to scheme is a result of her lack of self-confidence. One fan noted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “I see Audra’s past as driving her choices… Being a child of an alcoholic can affect a child in a multitude of ways. I think this gives Audra layers they haven’t begun to explore yet.”
One fan responded: “I’m thawing slightly on Audra. I’m intrigued by her latest decision, despite myself.”

Most Y&R fans are loving Audra’s vulnerability. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Audra still struggles with that side of herself. She doesn’t want others to see her as weak. But, this makes her more human.
As a result, she keeps going back to her old ways. Audra knows that she can seduce men and get them to do whatever she wants.
She tried seducing Nate before Tucker showed up at her hotel room. Audra previously told Nate that she was originally into him.
