Y&R Spoilers: Ashley’s Painful Reminder Of Her Past, Forced To Deal With Her Possible Breakdown?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will encounter a painful reminder of her past. It looks like Ashley will be forced to deal with accepting she’s having another possible breakdown.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Felt Her Family’s Betrayal

Upon returning from Paris, where Ashley and sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) travelled to find out the truth about a violent incident Ashley remembered, she felt betrayed.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) had been gaslighting Ashley, telling her the violent incident she remembered him causing never happened.

When Traci and Ashley got to the Parisian café where she and Tucker had been, the waiter sided with Tucker, and Ashley knew Tucker must have paid him off.

But what she didn’t know is that Traci interviewed the restaurant’s whole staff and offered to pay them large sums for telling what Tucker did.

Not a one took the payment and all said the violence never happened-Ashley felt betrayed when Traci told.

Y & R Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Confronted Tucker McCall

Ashley ran from the room and hunted down Tucker at the Genoa City Athletic Club and interrupted his sexy session with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

That confirmed to Ashley that he was cheating on her all along with the younger woman, and told Audra she could have him, after getting in some digs.

She accused her of sleeping with Tucker and cheating on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) with Tucker.

After a tension filled confrontation, Tucker told Ashley perhaps she needed some professional help-meaning a shrink, which was the ultimate insult.

Ashley had several breakdowns and needed psychiatric care in her past-one time when she miscarried a baby boy when she was married to Brad Carlton (Don Diamont).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Cannot Face The Evidence

Ashley cannot face the mounting evidence that she imagined the violent incident in Paris, meaning she may be having another mental breakdown.

She imagined things during her previous breakdowns as well, including carrying a towel around at a society event bragging about her miscarried baby boy Robert.

Her being forced to realize that she’s becoming psychotic again and imagining things forces her to face her painful past, which is why she had a bad reaction to her intervention.

Ashley may be forced into deep therapy, if indeed, not a forced commitment to a psychiatric hospital, the last thing she wants. But if she really is imagining things and having another breakdown, then that’s the best thing for her.
