Y&R Spoilers: Alan’s Twin Or Alter-The Shocking Truth About Martin Revealed?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and rumors tease that Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) twin Martin Laurent may not be his twin at all.

The two are never seen together, yet Martin seems to know everything about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson); might Alan have an alter of his own?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Alan Laurent’s Claim Was An Evil Twin Impersonating Him

Alan’s claim is Martin is an evil twin impersonating him, but if that’s true how would Martin know anything about Ashley and answer her phone call to Alan in his absence?

That doesn’t make any sense-Ashley did claim to have gotten to know Alan in Paris, but she hasn’t been living and working in Paris for years.

Ashley returned to Genoa City fulltime about the time that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) did.

Prior to that, she had lived and worked in Paris where she gave Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) a job, relating to being an outsider Abbott related through Dina Abbott (Marla Adams). When she connected with Alan this time, they likely hadn’t connected for several years.

Y & R Spoilers – Alan Laurent Seemed Nervous About Martin Being In Paris

As Tucker called Ashley right in front of Alan and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) to check if she was okay-she didn’t believe him-Alan stood behind them looking nervous.

He was still nervous and a bit alarmed when Ashley told him Tucker had encountered Martin in Paris, and this was after he said Martin could be in Paris.

But when this scene happened, Alan and the Abbott sisters weren’t in Genoa City-the three were in Paris where Ashley wanted to go to try and regain her true memories.

They went to his apartment in Paris, where Ashley started regaining her memories-to a point where Alan thought Traci was an interfering influence, and she left.

After she left, all hell broke loose-and Ashley realized “Alan” was really “Martin” leaving her afraid and confused, because Martin became violent!

There was such a quick switch between Alan and Martin, that it sounds like alters switching more than an evil twin taking over his life!

Besides, when Traci was there Alan was obviously under control even though and claimed Martin “lived through” what he did with his patients-that’s an odd way to put it, for sure.

Now, was the Alan that Ashley knew years ago real, or has it been two alters in one body the whole time?

All types of scenarios could be possible-Alan’s DID having worsened over the years, or worse, Martin having murdered his twin and taken over his identity! But what seems to be happening is someone with DID attempting to treat someone else with DID!
