The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) raises the ire of his family as he slings accusations at Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). He doesn’t trust the newest lost and found Newman, and he’s not sure she’s for real.

Granted, it’s an incredible story of a baby said to have died in a hospital NICU showing up nearly thirty years later alive-but Adam’s advised DNA was tested.

Claire really is baby Eve all grown up, Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) first baby with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Adam is perhaps a bit overly suspicious, mainly because he was left out of the loop when his family disappeared, and he found out what happened later.

He theorizes it was Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) hair, not Claire’s in the DNA test, and suspects not only Claire but Cole are in on a ruse!

He brings his accusations during a Newman family dinner, which only makes them more egregious.

Y & R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Claps Back, Claire Grace Gives As Good As She Gets!

Now Claire can understand why her mom told her not to talk to Adam about coping as a newly found Newman-Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knew about Adam for years.

Claire can see why Victoria and Nick Newman, (Joshua Morrow) full siblings might be a little resentful of Adam, the product of an affair.

However, she’s found out she has another half-aunt, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and she’s not treated like Adam!

Claire can also see why Adam would be suspicious of her, and even her dad, considering the circumstances and Adam’s own struggles to be accepted by the family.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Claire Grace Is Determined To Win Adam Newman Over

Claire is determined, against the advice of her mother, to get to know Adam better and win him over to her side.

Her original idea was she and Adam could bond as “newbies” but Adam’s got history worse than hers to overcome.

She deeply relates to a lot of the self-hate issues that he seems to suffer from and hopes they can help each other.

As far as the family dinner and Adam’s well-meaning suspicions of her and Cole are concerned, Claire is determined to prove his suspicions wrong. Time will tell if Claire’s efforts to earn her uncle’s trust and friendship will be successful.
