Y&R spoilers for the week of July 29 reveal that one must-see moment centers on Connor. Fans know that Connor was struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Eventually, Connor had to be admitted to a residential facility. There were some tough moments, including when Connor hurt himself. However, Connor has made a lot of progress lately and can now come home.

While that is great news, both Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) seem rattled by the news. Adam and Chelsea keep worrying that Connor might self-harm when he’s home or that they can’t handle his issues.

I have to wonder if maybe Connor is being released a bit too soon after the self-harming incident. Of course, it’s probably been weeks or even months in soap time.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 29 reveal that another must-see moment focuses on Summer. Right now, Summer is getting lawyers involved with her custody war.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is striking back, although he failed to recruit Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) as a spy. 

Claire recently tried to warn Summer that Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) was sensing tension. At first, Summer and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) thought Claire was just trying to guilt trip. That’s not what Claire was doing, though.

It seems Summer and Kyle are just trying to hurt each other rather than focus on protecting Harrison. Maybe that is what Summer’s tough decision is all about.

It is teased that Chance will help Summer make a tough decision. Afterward, Chance comforts Summer. So, what is this decision? Will Summer try to terminate Kyle’s parental rights? Will Summer give up the custody fight and decide to deal with Kyle from another angle? 

Summer recently talked about taking Harrison on a trip, but could it actually be a kidnapping scheme? I can’t see Chance supporting that kind of decision .. unless a child is in grave danger. So, maybe Summer lies to the former detective?
