Y&R And B&B Spoilers: Schedule Changes Coming For 2025

CBS Soap Spoilers indicate that schedule changes are coming for The Young and The Restless and The Bold And The Beautiful in 2025, here is what we know so far. The network has made a few changes to the daytime lineup and the networks soaps are affected the most.

Out With The Old And In With The New

CBS fans are losing The Talk, their final episode is scheduled for December 24, 2024. In February 2025, a new soap opera, Beyond the Gates, is scheduled to premiere.

In the meantime, encore episodes of The Price Is Right will fill the spot Schedule Changes Coming For 2025

By December 23, 2024, viewers can expect to see Let’s Make A Deal from 10 am to 11 am. ET. This will be followed by new episodes of The Price Is Right.

Y&R will follow at 12:30 to 1pm, followed by B&B from 1:30 to 2:00 pm ET. This will be the beginning of the new daytime lineup. In the afternoon, Let’s Make A Deal will then air from 3pm to 4pm ET.

CBS Spoilers – The Price Is Right Reigns Supreme

Again, The Price Is Right encores will fill in until Beyond The Gates is ready to claim its rightful spot in the CBS daytime lineup. Beyond The Gates will air at 2pm ET following The Bold And The Beautiful.

Beyond The Gates is the first ever one-hour Black soap opera and is a venture between CBS Studios and The NAACP as a debut project.

It is also the first new soap opera to premiere on network tv since Passions in 1999. Of course, fans remember that Passions was supernatural themed.

CBS Soaps Spoilers – CBS Has Gained Viewers

According to Soap Central CBS has seen audience growth across its daytime dramas and game shows in L+7 viewing. CBS top shows reach about 3.83 million viewers daily.

What are those top daytime shows? The Price Is Right had the highest ratings, followed by The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.

Schedules are subject to change but in some markets, the soaps are already in these time slots.

In some instances, such as breaking news, The Bold And The Beautiful, or The Young and The Restless schedules have been knows to change due to breaking news. Sometimes the show will air at a later time that day so viewers can catch up.

Some viewers have pointed out that sometimes shows are preempted for things like football and cannot be seen until 1am or later and that isn’t fair. Of course, soap opera fans don’t usually like changes in their schedules, which make preemptions rather annoying at times.
