Young And The Restless Spoilers: Diane Strikes Back After Nikki’s Issues Ruins Valentine’s Day Plans With Jack

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) likely didn’t realize exactly what he was signing up for when he agreed to become Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA sponsor.

While he got the “okay” to proceed by his wife Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), trouble could be brewing in his marriage as time wears on.

Y&R spoilers for Friday, February 9th reveal that the bond between Jack and Nikki will start to bother Diane.

Initially placing her stamp of approval on Jack’s AA sponsor request may have been a way for his wife to keep up the act of being “kind-hearted” and always supportive of everything he does.

However, it’ll take a toll on Diane and their marriage. After all, she and Nikki aren’t friends, but rather rivals, and the time that Jack and Nikki are spending together is bound to rub her the wrong way. But what will be Diane’s breaking point and how will she strike back?

The cute thing about Jack and Diane is how much they love doing things together. Nikki is at her lowest right now, and with Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) likely on the loose, things will get worse before they get better.

Still, if Ms. Newman has an alcoholic meltdown on Valentine’s Day, Jack could ditch Diane to be by his ex’s side, which may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Diane knows that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not in the loop about Jack being Nikki’s AA sponsor. Whether she outright tells him, “accidentally” spills the beans, or sends an anonymous message to him, Diane will betray Jack’s confidence to send the Moustache reeling.

She knows that once he’s in the loop, Jack will stop being Nikki’s main source of support; however, the Dack relationship could and would start crumbling if and when Jack finds out what Diane has done.

This could be the test that finally reveals Diane’s “true” colors and if she fails, her marriage and family could crash along with it.
