Young And The Restless: Brytni Sarpi Quietly Dropped

Young and the Restless star Brytni Sarpi has been quietly dropped from the soap. Fans noticed a major clue during the closing credits on this past week’s episodes. Her character, Elena Dawson, was noticeably absent from the daytime soap for the past year.

Elena left Genoa City for a better job. She ended her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) on good terms. The two individuals were on different paths. Nate was climbing up the business ladder, while Elena stuck to working at the hospital. Find out what happened to the actress.

The Young And The Restless – Conner Floyd Demoted

As previously reported, fans wondered about the status of Conner Floyd. They noticed that his role of Chance Chancellor took a step back due to the current storylines. He should be on the screen more since he’s involved with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

However, he’s become demoted. That doesn’t bode well for his character. Chance could get side-stepped as Summer grows closer to her ex-husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

On the Thursday, June 13 episode of The Young and the Restless, Summer looked like she still had feelings for him. She was on a date with Chance. She agreed to follow him back to their hotel room.

However, when she got a text back from Kyle, her demeanor changed. She had an interesting look on her face. It’s as if she wanted to be with Kyle instead.

This could suggest the end of Summer’s relationship with Chance. Or, she could end up in a love triangle with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), who also has her eye on Kyle.

Y&R Spoilers – Brytni Sarpy Dropped From Daytime Soap

The latest news also suggests that Brytni Sarpy was dropped from the soap. She quietly exited after her character was demoted to a recurring role.

Recurring means that the character only appears on the soap if there’s a storyline for him or her. This is what happened to Chance’s role.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Conner Floyd eventually leaves the soap as well. Some Y&R viewers would’ve loved to see Elena and Chance end up together.

They seemed like the perfect match since they both hate the business world. They’re also down-to-earth and don’t have a messy dating history.

Sarpi isn’t the only one leaving the show. Eileen Davidson is also taking a temporary exit. That’s because her character Ashley Abbott has agreed to seek help at a mental health facility.
