Yellowstone Spoilers – What Are We To Expect From The Final Episodes?

Looks like Kevin Costner won’t be returning for the final episodes of Yellowstone, which will start airing on Nov. 10th, 2024. Originally, the issue with the final season was that there were no scripts ready, according to Costner. By the time they were ready, he was embroiled in filming his western epic “Horizon” and couldn’t stop to film anymore.

He did initially agree to come in and reshoot some scenes, writing his character, John Dutton, out of the series but it looks like this was a no-win situation because it caused a lot of tension on the set and it seems that now a lot of the cast members are no longer speaking to Costner, viewing him as the villain of the piece.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Sheridan Wasn’t Having It.

In particular, Showrunner Taylor Sheridan viewed Costner’s attempt at compromise as an insult and decided to move forward with the series without him.

Whether or not that was a wise decision remains to be seen, seeing as his character is still a very important part of the series and the plot is currently at a standstill.

The last we saw, John Dutton (Costner) had squared up to do battle with his son Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) and was joined by daughter Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly).

Right now, the latter’s life is in danger because there is a very real possibility that Jamie could kill her.

However, Jamie needn’t get too comfortable because there is also a very real possi little that Daddy could come gunning for him too, or at least there was until now.

Yellowstone Spoilers – It Be A Tearjerker?

Either way, there has been talk of the series premiere being highly emotional, so at least the fans will get something out of it even though we’re not sure what that may be yet. We are also not sure if the number of episodes that this final season will have yet.

Costner has stated that he would like to return to the series if at all possible to finish things out but now that seems like a pipe dream.

Lord knows it would be awkward to walk into that set as Costner now, considering all his cast mates are giving him the cold shoulder. Yike! Dr. Drake Remoray’s elevator death scene from Friends comes to mind, suddenly.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Is the story finished?

It would seem that the saga is not finished, there will be another spin-off in the series called The Madison.

So fans won’t have to rely on reruns for too long afterwards, but no word on when that will be filming yet or what the plot is beyond a continuation of the Yellowstone story. Sounds a bit… ritzy, though. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
