Will Sister Wives Continue Filming Following Garrison Brown’s Death?

Reportedly, despite the tragic death of Robert Garrison Brown, the Sister Wives cast continues to film the TLC reality show.

The sad news was confirmed by Janelle Brown and Kody Brown on Tuesday, March 5, that Robert, 25, had taken his own life with a gunshot wound.

While the family is requesting privacy at this sad time, The Sun reports that filming will continue.

Janelle Brown and Kody Brown confirmed the sad news of the death of their son, Robert Garrison Brown reportedly by suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At the time, Janelle, 54, posted on Instagram, writing:

Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was the bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes are breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.

Janelle became worried after the cast and crew received text messages from Robert.  According to TMZ, the day before his passing, Robert sent a group text reading:

I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.

While Janelle wasn’t included in the recipients, she notified his brother, asking him to check on him after text communication ceased.

Meanwhile, Robert’s brother discovered him at his home, and according to his roommates, they had heard a pop but didn’t think anything of it and didn’t check on Robert. 

Filming continues on the TLC reality show

So far, no news has been released relating to the TLC reality show and whether filming will continue.

However, reportedly, inside sources are leaking information about the continuity of the series’ filming.

Despite the unexpected tragic death of Robert Garrison Brown, The Sun reports that the Sister Wives cast continues to film.

While the family is mourning their tragic loss, a source told The Sun, “The family is normally always filming, whether it’s [with] actual cameras or on their phones,” adding, “As sad as it is, [Garrison’s] unexpected death came during the timeline of filming.”

However, this hasn’t been confirmed by TLC. Meanwhile, Robert and Kody were said to be estranged at this time with the source telling The Sun:

TLC is going to want to continue the storyline and fans are going to expect to know what happened to [Garrison]. I can’t imagine any of this won’t be filmed. I just don’t know how far this will go and how deep the family will get.
