Will Jana Duggar & Stephen Wissmann Have Kids?

Counting On fans gave up on Jana Duggar ever getting married but now that she tied the knot with Stephen Wissmann in August, TLC fans wonder if they will have children. Read on to find out what people suspect might happen. 

Jana Duggar Wedding Caught Fans By Surprise 

So many rumors arrived over the years that Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest daughter was dating. However, none of them ever came to anything. Even the rumors that Stephen Wissmann was dating her faded after nothing happened for several years. And, the rumors grew that she was a closet lesbian destined to live with her parents forever. 

One day, things heated up with yet another marriage rumor. It came when someone leaked a wedding website, registry, and church wedding schedule. And then, surprise! Jana Duggar was married. Actually, most Counting On fans seemed stunned that it finally happened. But now they get used to the idea, they wonder if the couple will raise their own kids. 

TLC Fans Wonder About Kids

Michelle Duggar welcomed her first child, Josh Duggar in 1988. She produced another 18 kids and had a miscarriage. So, she was carrying babies after she was the same age as Jana is now. Seemingly permanently pregnant, might her daughter, Jana Duggar, now 34, try and make her own babies? 

On Reddit this weekend, Counting On fan u/ ProfessionalPiano351 asked other TLC fans about children. In their caption, they wrote:

Now that she’s married, do we think that Jana will have any children? Or will Jana insist that Stephen get a vasectomy, because she is sick to death of raising children? Discuss.

TLC Fans Debate The Possibilities

At the moment, Jana seems content with helping Stephen Wissmann refurbish their home. That’s where she’s happiest and the TLC alum always had a knack for interior decorating. But so far, she hasn’t mentioned a nursery. In the comments section, hardly anyone thought that she wouldn’t have children. But, they doubted there would be many. Here are some of their reactions:

• I don’t know, but thankfully she waited long enough that she won’t be expected to have 20 of them.
• I speculate that they will have 2 and then use the pull and pray method of birth control.
• I think maybe 2 or 3. Hard to say. Them getting married has kind of thrown the common narratives about her out the window.
• I get the feeling that Jana and Stephen will end up with 2 or 3, and one of the pregnancies will be twins.
• I don’t think she will have less than 2 unless she’s not able to.
