Why Are Fans Campaigning For Princess Beatrice To Become A Senior Royal

The more the merrier. This year’s Sandringham get-together was a larger one by all accounts, having been attended by Camilla’s children and grandchildren. But that’s not all the fun that’s to be had.

Speaking to one of the fans, Princess Eugenie revealed her favorite part of the service, and it may or may not be what you expected.

There’s something noticeably new about the Royal Family this year, or maybe it’s because, for the first time in decades, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie got to spend Christmas morning with their mother at St Mary Magdalene’s Church in Sandringham.

The occasion was also graced by their father Prince Andrew. During their walk home from church, the Princess stopped to greet the crowd of waiting fans.

“I hope it’s not too chilly?” she asked a group of people, before adding: “Was everyone singing really well? I love Christmas carols, they just make you feel good.”

Perhaps the cutest of the interaction was how proud her husband looked while she had fun talking to people. Though he didn’t take part in the conversation, he stood a little ways off smiling proudly.

The Duchess of Edinburgh and her daughter Lady Louise, who were following behind, also stopped to wave and greet the gathered crowd.

When fans saw the video of this interaction on X, they campaigned for the Princess to be promoted to senior royal status.

“Make Princess Beatrice a Senior Royal,” one wrote, whilst another added: “She is a counsellor of state so she obviously has some endearing qualities.”

Even though Princess Beatrice is not an active working royal, she does offer the Royal Family help occasionally.

Anyway, she’s got her own private ventures, and she’s mom to Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi and stepmom to Wolfie, who her husband shares with ex Dara Hung.

The young boy was noticeably absent from the celebrations this year, even though he joined the pair last year.

The reason for his absence was that he was flown out to spend the holidays with his mother in Florida. He looked to be having fun too per the cute pics his mother shared on Instagram.
