General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that younger viewers are interested to know more about Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). Who is Gio and what is his connection to the people of Port Charles? Is he related to Sonny or just a good friends?

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Gio Palmieri To Port Charles

General Hospital Spoilers indicate that Gio showed up for Brooke Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.

Gio is a cousin to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Brooke Lynn. Gio played the violin while Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) walked his daughter down the aisle.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talked with Gio about his violin lessons and how he paid for them. Gio talks about college as he is in his second year.

Gio also becomes friends with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). After getting Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charlton) approval, Gio moves into the Quartermaine mansion with the rest of the family.

GH Spoilers – Gio Palmieri Gets A Job

Gio secures a job at the Metrocourt pool as an attendant. Gio admits that Olivia Quartermaine made him interview for his job as well as put him on a months probation to see if he was going to work out.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Gio discuss his concert in the park this summer and how Josslyn believes people would camp out to get ticket to hear him play.

Gio is good at what he does and he is a bit confident for his age as well. Gio and Josslyn are by the pool when she accidentally knocks him into the pool.

This becomes a sense of deja vu for Josslyn’s friend Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who recently lost her boyfriend in a boating accident not too long ago.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Gio Palmieri Mend A Broken Heart?

Trina was very shaken by her first meeting with Gio, who reminded her of Spencer Cassadine (ex-Nicholas Chavez) at the time.

Josslyn and Trina are surprised to learn that Gio will also be attending PCU in the fall. Gio had auditioned for the school and won a full scholarship to play his violin there.

Gio flirts with Trina but is quick to defend Sonny when Trina says something against him.

Sonny is a beloved member of the Cerullo family. Gio asks about Trina’s reaction when they met and she explains how he reminded her of someone that had died. Trina run away from Gio very upset. Will Gio mend Trina’s broken heart or will Spencer come back to his beloved Trina himself?
