Whitney Way Thore Pays Tribute To Her Late Mom, Babs

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans adored Babs Thore, the wife of Glenn, and the mom of Whitney Way Thore. Two years ago, she passed away, and this weekend, her daughter shared a tribute to her with her TLC fans on social media. 

Whitney Way Thore Helped Her Mom In Her Last Days.

In Season 4 of the TLC show, Babs Thore suffered a stroke, but over the years, she seemed to get better. In fact, she was almost back to her old self. And, her daughter had been there offering her support every day. In fact, she seemed obsessive about the health and safety of her parents and wanted them to live downstairs in case they had a fall. 

Unfortunately, in 2022, Whitney Way Thore was busy with her friends and they had taken a trip to St. Lucia. Then the call came from her dad, Glenn. My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans heard that Babs Thore suffered another stroke and it was bad. Hunter Thore, Whitney’s brother explained that at first, he thought his mom had died.

Whitney Way Thore Pays Tribute To Babs

As time went by, Babs started improving slowly, and lots of photos of that time arrived from her daughter. Ultimately, Babs passed away while the family watched her favorite movie. Later, TLC fans saw that the show covered her mother’s funeral and a lot of heat went the way of Whitney and her dad. Now, two years after the death of Babs, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star took to social media and posted a tribute to her mom.

In her caption on Instagram, Whitney Way Thore told her TLC fans:

Two years ago my dad and my brother and I held my mommy as she died — at 10:32pm, which is the same time I was born. My mother has been my greatest gift in life and she was magic. I am so grateful to be made from her. 🖤
