Where Did TLC Film 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2?

90 Day Fiance fans learned early on that 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 was filmed in Arizona. But, the discussion raged about the exact location for at least eight months now. After the December 2 premiere, the subject was discussed once again on social media. 

90 Day: The Last Resort Films In Nice Locations

Some TLC fans suspect that the couples on the spinoff only go on The Last Resort because it gives them more screen time. For example, Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren were fine on social media, but on the edge of divorce on the spinoff. Meanwhile, others believe they go because they get paid to be at a nice location. Season 1 was filmed at the Isla Bella Beach Resort in the Florida Keys.

90 Day Fiance fans heard very early that the second season of 90 Day: The Last Resort was filmed in the desert area of Arizona. But, Arizona is huge, and the sixth biggest state in the USA covers an area of 113,642 square miles (295,233 square km) per USA Today. And, only about half of that is not desert. So TLC fans try and find out the exact location. 

TLC Fans Discuss The Filming Location

Naturally, 90 Day Fiance fans discuss the cast in the show. But as many of them like Gino and Jasmin are unpopular, others talk about the actual show itself. On December 3, TLC fan u/MissEmma85 asked other viewers if they knew the resort. They wrote:

Where is this season of Last Resort filmed? I have searched and searched on Google maps, but I just can’t figure out where this season was/is filmed! Anyone know the area better than this Yorkshire girl and able to figure out the resort?

Well, in the comments section, several people already knew the filming location for Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. 

The 90 Day Fiance Spinoff Was Filmed Near Scottsdale

According to Arizona Central, and members of a Reddit community eight months ago, the TLC spinoff was filmed at the “Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale.” The outlet noted:

Episode 1 shows several shots of the resort that seem [to] match the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, including their fountains, scenes at the pool, luscious walkways and vibrant landscape.

Although the location wasn’t confirmed, on Reddit, a TLC fan noted that they saw “Florian, Darcey and Gino” at the resort. Plus, staff did tell them they were “filming” but wouldn’t say which show the cast was there for. Is this great advertising for the Omni Scottsdale Resort? Well, not necessarily. If you don’t know, Isla Bella Beach Resort got some bad reviews after Season 1.
