Was Robyn Brown Behind Kody Brown’s Emotional Abuse?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown seemed emotionally abusive towards Meri, Christine, and Janelle, but was Robyn Brown behind it all? Read on to find out what TLC fans think went on behind the scenes. 

Kody Does What Robyn Brown Wants?

TLC fans accused Kody Brown’s last wife of using her tears to manipulate her husband against the other wives. Sometimes, he talked to the family, but when his favorite turned on the tears, he would lose it and start yelling at everyone else. But, did she also make him seem emotionally abusive because she influenced him when they talked privately? Meri Brown and the bed and breakfast comes to mind. 

Robyn Brown probably talked to Kody about everything, including the covid social distancing. Can you recall him telling Janelle that locking down wasn’t a biggie? But then, it seemed that it was Robyn’s idea that they should go to extreme lengths to stay apart. 

Robyn Brown Gets Kody Brown Flip-Flopping

This week on Reddit, Sister Wives fans discussed how Kody Brown seemed to change his mind. But, only after he’d been with Robyn. That seemed to confuse the other wives as if he was gaslighting them, which amounts to emotional abuse. The OP noted, in part, that he seemed “manipulative, mean-spirited, and abusive.” 

Robyn Brown wasn’t mentioned in the OP’s post, but that came later in the comments. The TLC fan added:

Meri takes Kody to the B&B for the first time and he says he loves the place…Then just a few days later they meet with all the wives and starts dragging Meri through the mud… Then…Christine meets with him about moving back to Utah. During their private discussion, he’s supportive of her…Once they meet with all of the wives, he drags Christine through the mud…

Kody Brown Flip-Flopped After Talking To Robyn?

The discussion about emotional abuse soon turned to Robyn Brown. Here are some thoughts by TLC fans:

• He has his own mind until he goes and talks to Robyn…she changes it all up.
• He was at Janelle’s during very early COVID and he’s talking about how a shutdown isn’t a good idea and they don’t need to do too much etc…. then he went to robyn’s and never left.
• … robyn runs him.
• Kody was OVERRULED. Robyn had an opinion and hers is the only one that matters to Kody in the end.
