90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 7 star Tigerlily Taylor Abdelfattah wasn’t always called by that first name, and this week, she revealed where it came fro
m. Additionally, the 41-year-old who hooked up with 22-year-old Adnan Abdelfattah revealed her ethnic heritage. Read on to find out where her rather sweet first name came from.
Previously Divorced Tigerlily Is In A Hurry To Marry
TLC fans already have their doubts that Adnan from Jordan will last with his woman from Texas. And, a busted relationship isn’t something she hasn’t experienced before. In fact, she had children with her ex, Darren Taylor.
So, it seems surprising that only after four months of online dating she wants to marry Adnan on the same day she meets him in person.
Tigerlily, 90 Day Fiance fans agree, seems too desperate to marry and it just doesn’t make sense. Anyway, the blonde-haired TLC star seems determined, although it seems to be a fairly loveless relationship. Mind you, there are other questionable people in the new season of Before the 90 Days.
The TLC Star Reveals Where Her Name Came From
Recently, fans heard that the 90 Day Fiance star shared her interesting ethnic heritage, and it was repeated when she talked about choosing the name, “Tigerlily.” If you haven’t heard, the TLC newcomer is “half Japanese…Austrian/Native American.” And, when she changed her name, she let her kids choose it for her as she had chosen their names.
The 90 Day Fiance star explained:
[The kids] love the Peter Pan movie, and there is a character named Princess Tigerlily who is Native American and that’s why they picked Tigerlily.
When u/murrayhillthrill shared the post on Reddit, they wrote, “Tigerlily’s kids gave her the name Tigerlily! Interesting concept I’ve never heard of.”
TLC Fans React On Reddit
In the comments section of the discussion, fans of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days had mixed reactions to the name choice. Here are some of their ideas about it:
- My kid named her first pet mr skinny legs. It was a betta fish. Sounds like a horrible concept.
- Right! Tigerlily isn’t great but it could have been much worse
- …the reason behind her name is very endearing. I think it fits her and it’s lovely.
- She’s so incredibly strange. It’s one of the more captivating “What the actual hell…” stories that 90DF has rolled out though. Maybe it’s my love for Housewives, I like the fact she’s rich so she’s not on struggle street trying to find a foreign love interest like most of the cast. She’s just…weird as hell all the same but with all that money.
What are your thoughts about Tigerlily letting her kids choose her name? Do you think it was very sweet? Or, do you think it was a strange thing to do? Shout out in the comments below, and remember to come back here for all your 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days Season 7 news.
