Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have a date. Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) loyalty is tested. Elsewhere, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) surprises Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

Y&R spoilers for the week of January 8 reveal that Claire is getting treatment at a mental health facility. Even though Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have promised to be there, Claire’s damage is complicated and long-term.

Of course, soaps make recovery seem so simple, so Claire will likely be all better in a matter of weeks rather than the years it actually takes.

Fans will see Claire have more nightmares about Jordan. However, by the end of the week, Claire settles unfinished business with the villain. It’s not clear if this is in person, through the phone, or maybe it’s some kind of counseling method.

Y&R Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s Loyalty

During the week of January 8, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) continues drinking. In fact, Nikki gets so blasted drunk that she nearly falls on top of Lauren. Nikki tells Lauren that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can’t see her like that.

Nikki vents about not being able to go home. While Lauren does help Nikki, her loyalty will be tested. So, that might connect to Victor calling Nikki out on her drinking.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of January 8 reveal that after Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) dream, Summer surprises Chance.

Fans know that Summer has been trying to fight her feelings for Chance. Even though Summer doesn’t want to break up anyone’s relationship, she does have a chance now.

So, Summer makes her move, which ends up surprising Chance.

During the week of January 8, Adam and Sally go out on a date. Adam suggests toasting to their new chapter. Sally smiles really big and raises her glass to that toast. It is suggested that sparks fly with “Ally.”
