The Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus To Film Daryl Dixon Season 3 In Spain

Norman Reedus fans are looking forward to another season of the Daryl Dixon spinoff on AMC. Meanwhile, Reedus has recently visited the Balearic Island of Mallorca. Moreover, filming of season 3 of his spinoff is set to be filmed in several locations in Spain.

Filming for season 3 of The Walking Dead spinoff, Daryl Dixon is about to start in various locations in Spain.  Norman Reedus is famous for his role as Daryl in the series and has also starred in several other series, documentaries, movies and video games.

Currently, Reedus is visiting the popular Balearic Island of Mallorca after spending some time in Madrid. Meanwhile, he recently was seen at the iconic Sandro’s restaurant in Palma. A post made by the restaurant on Facebook reads:

The talented actor Norman Reedus, known for his role in The Walking Dead, enjoyed a gastronomic evening with his family at our restaurant. It was a pleasure to have him with us and share our passion for good food.

According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, the restaurant has previously welcomed Hollywood stars, including Oscar winner Morgan Freeman who dined at the restaurant in 2022. While there, the actor praised his meal, saying, “the best Bolognese I’ve ever eaten in my life.” Naturally, this is significant for the restaurant that regularly features in TV shows, magazines and newspapers.

Sometime after Freeman’s visit, King Felipe VI of Spain visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening with two other couples. The group sat at a table by the window, where passers-by were surprised to see the country’s monarch seated at the same table once occupied by the famous actor.

Fans are excited, as it is just weeks before the highly anticipated premiere of season 2 of Daryl Dixon. In the new season, fans will get to watch the reunion between Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride).

Besides the upcoming release of season 2, fans are already excited about the third season which will be filmed in Spain. Reportedly, the Daryl Dixon production will have its headquarters in Madrid, while filming in some of Spain’s most beautiful locations, including Catalonia, Aragon, Valencia and Galicia. These locations are sure to be an amazing backdrop to the ongoing zombie apocalypse.

In the meantime, The Walking Dead fans can look forward to the premiere of season 2 of Daryl Dixon on September 29, 2024, on AMC.
