Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) were two misfit newlyweds settling into life as Italian restaurant owners when all hell broke loose. First, the homeless man named Tom Star (Clint Howard) who officiated their wedding was found dead.

It didn’t look like foul play at first, but after longtime and loyal water Hollis also turned up dead, they knew something weird was going on.

Learning that Hollis and Tom died via the same poison made things even more intriguing. Now, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), Deacon, and Sheila sit down to discuss the murders and try to figure out what’s really going on.

They make for a strange trio, but if they put their heads together, maybe they can come up with something.

Katie is sure that Sheila and Deacon have more info than they know. She just needs them to think because she is almost sure she knows what Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) is really hiding. It can’t just be about Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity.

After searching for the truth for weeks, Katie finally finds it. The conversation with Deacon and Sheila gives her more leads, so she goes off to get some answers.

Could Katie find herself in grave danger that she never expected? She knows Poppy has been lying about a lot of things, but Poppy could not have been acting alone.

What do Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) have to do with all of this? There has to be a reason they were both there the night that Tom died. Jack hadn’t been seen in months but suddenly appeared one fateful night.

What could he be hiding? And is Li in on it? Katie better watch her back with all that she now knows.
